有關放寬外國學生及畢業生來臺實習規定部分，本草案規劃：
For easing of provisions for foreign students and graduates to come to Taiwan as interns, the Draft Act is planned as follows,

1. 針對外國學生或畢業生核發6個月的停留簽證，期滿得延長，總停留期間最長1年，無須出境。

   Issuance of visitor visa for a stay of up to 6 months toward ordinary foreign students and graduates, and if requiring to continue internship, may apply before expiration for a 6-month extension, with total duration of stay up to a maximum of one year, and with no need to leave the country.
    

2. 在中央目的事業主管機關認可之STEM領域(科學、科技、工程、數學)等實習者，總停留期間最長2年。

   Foreign students and graduates who match fields of science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and other specializations approved by the relevant central competent authorities may stay for a total duration of up to two years.
