MINISTRY OF ECONOMIC AFFAIRS Notice is hereby given, for the promulgation of "Active Fault Geologically Sensitive Area (F0025 Kouhsiaoli Fault)", "Active Fault Geologically Sensitive Area (F0026 Lichi Fault)" and "Active Fault Geologically Sensitive Area (F0027 Chuhsiang Fault)" (promulgation becomes effective from 17th, December 2024)
有關八卦山斷層調查,最早由中油公司利用震測方式解析,認為八卦山背斜下方有一向東傾斜的八卦山逆衝斷層(Chen, 1978),八卦山斷層可以向上追蹤至深度1,700公尺處,換言之斷層未穿出地表;該斷層後來被稱為彰化斷層(楊貴三,1986;張徽正等,1998)。以目前的資料,對於彰化斷層(或八卦山斷層)的地下幾何形貌,例如滑脫面在哪一層位,卓蘭層(Chen, 1978)或錦水頁岩(Simoes et al., 2007)或更深的地層等,並不瞭解,而逆斷層持續滑動時向上、向前擴展的軌跡也無法預期,因此依據目前的地質科學資料尚無法進行地質敏感區劃定(林啓文等,2021),但本中心仍然會持續進行地質調查等相關工作,待將來證據充分時,再進行劃定與公告。
